I coat the bottom
of a garbage can The can has 8
drilled holes for air flow I spread copper
and iron sulfates over Then cover with a foot of soft wood kindling. |

On top of that I place hardwood kindling, cut no more than an inch in diameter, cover everything with newspaper and ignite. |

When I judge the fire to be at it's hottest I slightly cover the can, forcing the heat down but still allowing plenty of flame. A little further along in the process I cover the can more and allow the remaining contents to smolder for 12 hours. |
